J-1 Irish Work & Travel Information from the Department of Foreign Affairs

J-1 students who are traveling to the US to work for the summer are advised to plan their trip carefully. Sponsoring organizations will provide information to assist you to plan a successful trip and all Irish Centers in the US will provide information on jobs and accommodation and assistance if you run into problems.

  • The Department of Foreign Affairs has information for J-1 students on their website.

  • The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Information and application forms are available on the USCIS website.

NOTE:  Irish Outreach Ocean City, Ocean City, MD (May-September)
The Irish Apostolate USA does not anticipate opening its outreach services to Irish J-1 Student summer program participants in 2022 or 2023.
